Joe McCafferty, Managing Director A former practice leader at Accenture, and corporate officer at Fidelity Investments, and several small technology startups, Joe McCafferty has led significant change efforts in a variety of organizational settings. His expertise lies in leading complex organizational change initiatives, human performance systems, business process outsourcing, and corporate turnarounds. As a consultant, Mr. McCafferty has led several large organization strategy and process reengineering efforts in Fortune 100 companies and large government agencies, achieving cost savings as high as $100 Million and tenfold improvements to operational efficiency. His work developing an Information Technology Governance model and risk management approach for the State of California won an award for outstanding thought leadership in IT Management from the National Association of State Information Resource Executives. As a corporate officer at Fidelity Investments, Mr. McCafferty transformed the company's approach to developing new products by combining resources from 3 departments into a new organization with overall responsibility for the entire new product lifecycle from market analysis through rollout. He has also led 2 successful turnarounds in small high-tech companies as a Vice President and General Manager. In both cases, Mr. McCafferty's teams sustained quarterly revenue growth of over 30%, and led to the successfully sale of both companies. Mr. McCafferty routinely provides Coaching to executive management to help strengthen their leadership skills. He has been a featured speaker at both national and international conferences, and has led numerous executive level retreats to build leadership teams. He received his Bachelor's Degree in Cognitive Psychology from Harvard University . Jan McCafferty, Managing Director Jan McCafferty's experience in organizational development and human performance systems has enabled her clients to hire, motivate, and develop high performing workforces for over 16 years. She is the former Director for HealthCare Services at Linkage, Inc. and a seasoned veteran of Andersen Consulting (now Accenture). Her expertise lies in change management, leadership development, organizational planning, and competency based human performance systems. At Andersen Consulting (now Accenture), Ms. McCafferty developed an organization change methodology and approach that was rolled out as a global standard. Following the rollout, Ms. McCafferty consulted on projects worldwide in the application of organization and human performance interventions for effective enterprise wide change projects. She has also developed comprehensive organization design methodologies that have become the standard for use in several large government and healthcare client organizations. As a practice leader at Linkage, Ms. McCafferty led the development of a new consulting model for competency based human performance systems. Under her leadership this new practice doubled in a two year period. Her learning systems and performance management systems for the healthcare industry have been recognized by the Joint Commission for the Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations for their innovative approach to developing hospital workforces. These nationally recognized programs have formed the basis for the Tandem Solutions Longitudinal Learning approach to developing excellence in workplace effectiveness. Jan routinely provides Executive Coaching to middle and senior managers to help strengthen their skills as leaders in their organizations. She has presented nationally on change leadership, competency development, the people side of work redesign, and innovative action learning systems. Jan is a former President of the Board for the Visiting Nursing Association of Middlesex East. She received her Bachelor's Degree in Nursing from Georgetown University and her MBA from the University of Hartford and she has been certified as a Myers Briggs facilitator. |
